Sea of Memories is a narrative-focused puzzle game, that takes place in a wondrous underwater mansion.

I designed the mechanics and levels of the game, while also managing a small team.
​
I also wrote the narrative of the game, along with a few collectibles that told short passages of the story.​

The standout feature of SoM was the ability to control both Eleanor (a 1st person character) and her Fish (a 3rd person "drone"). Using their unique capabilities, the player has to traverse the various puzzles of the mansion.​

While designing the puzzles, I wanted to make a linear but connected level. This meant having some elements of a puzzle be used in the ones that followed it (i.e. a Box used in the first puzzle of the level could be used in the last puzzle). This led to a lot of iteration and testing until I could ensure that the puzzles would not "break".
